Based in Toronto, Canada, Sound vs Silence is a private music project built by a few individuals who prefer to stay out of the spotlight.

Sound vs Silence is not a traditional band, and we don’t try to fit neatly into one style, sound, or genre. Each release follows the idea wherever it leads. Our Goal
The project began as a way to make music without pressure, performance, or expectation. No touring schedule. No stage persona. No need to chase trends. Just a small group of people creating, recording, and refining songs because the process itself matters to us. We make music because we love making it, not for recognition.
The Name
The name Sound vs Silence reflects the space where every track begins: in silence. Then comes an idea that manifests into sound. We’re interested in that contrast: what is played, what is implied, and the space that lives in between.
